BOT contract for Pune WtE project

The Pune Catonment Board (PCB) has determined a contractor for the WtE project in Hadapsar, as reported by The Times of India. The PCB has decided to award a BOT contract to an unnamed Thai company for 15 years. The deal includes a payment of INR 380 (EUR 5.3) per tonne of waste processed, after an official estimation, the company is expected to spend around INR 25 crore (EUR 3.5 million). According to the source, commissioning is not expected until 2019.
