CBG plant inaugurated in Budaun

As part of the plan to set up 100 new biogas plants in Uttar Pradesh, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated the compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Budhaun, Uttar Pradesh.

The plant has a capacity of 100 tpd of agricultural waste to produce around 14 tpd of CBG. Investment costs amounted to around RS 1.35 billion (EUR 15 million).

Additionally, the groundwork for another eight CBG plants has started, while the selection of land for the establishment of another 37 plants has been successfully concluded.
