The Tinsukia Municipal Board (TMB) has signed an MoU with Oil India Ltd (OIL) to jointly develop a CBG plant in Tinsukia, Assam.
Plans provide for the plant to process up to 50 tpd of organic MSW to produce 2 tpd of CBG. The TMB stated to allocate up to 8 acres of land to OIL to construct the plant. OIL should construct and operate the plant, while TMB should manage feedstock supply.
