CBG plant planned to be set up in Parjudi

A new compressed biogas (CBG) plant should be established in Parjudih, Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The District Magistrate (DM) has announced allocation of 20 acres of land for the plant, with a planned capacity of 20 tpd. Originally, only 10 acres were required for a 10 tpd capacity plant.

Investment costs are estimated to amount to RS 2 billion (EUR 22.3 million), according to the source. Approval from the Renewable Energy Development Agency is expected this month.
