C&D waste recycling plants to open in Fathullahguda and Jeedimetla

On 4 October, the government of India has approved two recycling plants for construction and demolition (C&D) waste in Fathullahguda and Jeedimetla, The Hindu reports. The tender has already been awarded to India-based provider of environmental services Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited. According to the source, about EUR 4 will be charged per ton of C&D waste. The Greater Hyderabad region generates about 450 tpd of C&D waste.
