The local Municipal Corporation (MC) of Chandigarh has paired with National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) to sell refuse-derived fuel (RDF) generated at the RDF plant in Dadu Majra. According to the report by Tribune India, the RDF plant is now being operated by NK Bhora after the municipal corporation had terminated its contract with Jaypee group. The RDF plant has been operational since 2008.
