Editor Even though Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) had been signed in 2014, there is still no progress on the sister-city agreement between the Indian city of Ahmedabad and the Chinese city of Guangzhou, DNA India reports. Under the MoU, the Chinese side had promised to both invest in and launch a new WtE project in Ahmedabad, state of Gujarat, but up until now, no serious steps have been taken towards realizing the project. Whether or not the project will ever be implemented seems unclear at this point.
