France-based CNIM Group recently announced it was facing financial and operational problems in its Environment and Energy business. A few international projects were also reportedly affected as a result of this development.

Today, CNIM Martin India has issued a statement to reassure its Indian partners:

CNIM Group announced on Thursday 20th January of having requested the legal restructuring of its CNIM E&E EPC division and at the same time the protective procedure of CNIM Groupe SA before the Tribunal of Commerce, Paris.

Despite being bad news for our Group, this dual process does not involve or impact our CNIM MARTIN Private Limited (CMPL) unit and our South and South East Asian and African activities.

Our CMPL Unit has an independent legal and financial structure and shows a solid financial position that enable CMPL to continue its development and commercial / operational activities independently without any disturbances and therefore to sustain all its commitments and liabilities toward its customers, partners and suppliers. Beside this, CMPL can count on its second prime shareholder MARTIN GmbH which has confirmed to maintain its support.

All our customers, partners and suppliers can therefore still count on CMPL in complete trust and Confidence – as ever.
