CNIM MARTIN Private Ltd. has signed a contract with turnkey solution provider Uttam Energy for the supply of the main components of the WTE plant to be built in Deonar, Mumbai, India for Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).

CNIM MARTIN PRIVATE LIMITED (CMPL) will supply the main components, EnviropowerTM reverse acting MSW incineration grate, Semi- SecoLABTM Semi-dry Flue Gas treatment system, and design of Paprec Engineering CNIM WTE Boiler to the Deonar WtE project.

The Waste to Energy facility envisages a boiler of 360 TPD capacity, with a total gross power generation of ~6 MWe. The fuel is raw Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) with low calorific value and high moisture content.

The Boiler design encompasses a three-run EnviropowerTM reverse Acting Martin Grate (Grate specially developed and designed by MARTIN Gmbh for Asian type of waste and exclusively licensed to CMPL) and a complete Semi Dry flue gas treatment system (Semi-SecoLABTM) exclusively licensed by MARTIN GmbH’s subsidiary LAB S.A to CMPL, all industrialized in India by CMPL. The EnviropowerTM reverse Acting Martin Grate integrated within the Paprec Engineering CNIM designed Boiler will suitably ensure the combustion of the municipal solid waste and coupled with the Semi-SecoLABTM, maintain and control the environmental emissions as per Indian standards.
