On June 5, World Environment Day, 4,000 towns will receive new bins for segregated waste, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is renewing his push for Swachh Bharat.
For liquid and dry waste, there will be two different types of trash cans in green and blue colours. The waste bins will collect dry trash in blue bins and liquid trash in green bins if we practise discipline, Modi said during his Mann Ki Baat radio programme, Hindustan Times.
