Concession agreement signed for Munnar WtE plant

According to The Times of India, Munnar and Devikulam panchayats have signed a concession agreement with New Delhi-based AG Dauters Waste Processing Private Limited to build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) a WtE plant in Munnar, Kerala. Neighbouring gram panchayats will be included to form a cluster with Munnar and Devikulam to provide the minimum assured quantity of 20 tonnes of solid waste per day. The 10 MW plant to be built by AG Dauters will have a operational capacity of 20 tpd.
