Construction of new WtE plant in Baglur has begun

According to United News of India, the construction works for a new WtE project in Baglur village, close to Bengaluru, Indian State of Karnataka, have officially begun. The foundation stone for the project was laid on January 19th, 2018, by Karnataka’s Minister for Bengalore Development. The plant should have an intake capacity of 192,000tpy of waste and generate 12 MW of energy. The project costs are expected to amount to around EUR 40.74 million.
