The development of a construction waste recycling plant in Rajarhat, West Bengal, is nearing completion. As further announced by an official of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), it should start operating in late October 2022.

The 500 tpd facility spread over 5 acres will be able to convert construction waste into aggregates. The output can subsequently be mixed with concrete for road paving. A private company not mentioned in the source will run the plant for the next 10 years, as further announced by The Times of India.
