CPCB launches portal for EPR registration

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has launched its portal for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for the purpose of e-waste registration.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) of producers is regulated through EPR Authorisation from the CPCB.

The online e-Waste Management System is a portal where producers can apply online for a grant of EPR Authorisation. The present module is the EPR Application module limited to online application submission and authorization of EPR.

All the stakeholders like Producers, PROs, dismantlers, recyclers, and refurbishers must register themselves on this system. Transporter and collection points/centers are added into this system by Producers, PROs, dismantlers, recyclers, and refurbished.
