According to the report by the Centre for Science and Environment, the government of Delhi has issued a list of approved fuels. Biogas and Refuse-derived fuel (allowed only for waste-to-energy plants) are included. Furthermore, the government is also planning to shut down all its coal power plants. Towards compliance, industrial units, commercial establishments and other fuel users are given a period of ninety days to switch over to approved fuels.
