The Delhi government has announced the establishment of the “country’s first” e-waste eco-park in New Delhi to deal with rising e-waste
The Delhi goverment plans to carry out recycling and remanufacturing on the 20-acre plot of land, according to Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Manish Sisodia.
Every year, the city of Delhi generates two lakh tonnes of e-waste. The project has reportedly received approval for a consultant appointment, reports Hindustan Times.
