Eco Green Energy Private Limited, subsidiary of Chinese operator China Jinjiang Environment Holding Co., will build and operate the WtE plant in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The contract has a duration of 22 years beginning in June this year. It consists of a waste pretreatment plant with a capacity of 193,920 tons of waste per year as well as a Waste-to-Energy facility and a landfill. Start of operations is scheduled for February 2020 and the total investments amount to EUR 36 million. This has been reported by the Business Times.
