Editor Essel Infraprojects Limited (EIL), subsidiary of conglomerate Essel Group, has officially opened its WtE plant in Vengadamangalam, Tamil Nadu. This was reported by Business Standard. The 2.9 MWel facility was developed under a design-build-operate-transfer (DBOT) scheme, with costs of the 300 tpd plant, which mainly utilises RDF, amounting to INR 1 billion (EUR 13.89 million). The facility is the first WtE plant commissioned by EIL.
