Contract awarded for Brahmapuram WtE project

The state cabinet of Kerala has awarded the contract for the 330 tpd Brahmapuram WtE project to company GL Nature Care Consortium, as reported by The Times of India. The facility, which will be developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) scheme, is estimated to cost around INR 2.95 billion (USD 44.5 million). Waste will be delivered by the city of Kochi and neighbouring municipalities.
