Elcita to build new solid waste management plant

Electronic City Industrial Township Authority (Elcita) is to build a new 100-tons-per-day solid waste management plant capable of processing mixed municipal waste in India. The plant is estimated to cost approximately INR 400 million and will be equipped with German technology. The realization of the project follows a detailed waste characterization study elaborated for a population of 300.000 people at the Leibniz University of Hannover in Germany.
