Finland-based “Clean Tech” will take over waste management in key cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow. The state government and Clean Tech recently signed an MoU to this effect.

The corporation may potentially establish a new waste disposal facility in Lucknow as part of its $2 million investment in waste management in the state. AVS Group oversees the company’s work in India, according to a representative of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC).

The Clean Tech crew visited the Shivri facility recently, reports Hindustan Times.

Prior to this, Ecogreen Limited was handling waste management in Lucknow.
