Five AD projects signed in Punjab

Five biogas projects accepting paddy straw are to be built in Punjab, according to the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA).

As reported, a corresponding agreement has been signed recently by PEDA and M/s EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt Ltd. The projects should be constructed in the Jagraon, Moga, Dhuri, Patra and Phillaur tehsils on a BOO basis entailing private investments of around INR 5 billion (EUR 58.8 million).

222,000 m³ of raw biogas should be produced and purified into 92 tpd of Bio-CNG. The plants should become operational by December 2023.
