New Waste to Energy project in Dundahera

A new WtE project could be built in Dundahera, Haryana. This is according to a report by The Times of India.

The project secured the approval of the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation on 27 November 2021.

Further information, such as the exact capacity of the future plant, have not been disclosed in the source. However, as the source further reports, the Dundahera facility should process those waste volumes that cannot be incinerated at the proposed WtE plant in Galand. The Galand incinerator expected for 2022 is supposed to accept most of the city’s waste, amounting 1,200 tpd.
