As stated by Jaipur’s city mayor, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has approved funds for the Jaipur WtE plant. However, the state government of Rajasthan still has to approve the project. According to earlier sources, the WtE plant should have a treatment capacity of 700 tpd, generating 7 MWel. Reportedly, JMC has already selected an unknown partner firm for the project, according to The Times of India.
