Further information on Deonar plant

According to The Asian Age, costs for the proposed WtE plant close to Deonar, Mumbai, have been said to amount to about Rs 1,000 crore. Once built, the facility should produce 25 to 30 MW, treating 3,000 tons of waste annually. As stated by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, the bidding process is expected to start in August.
