Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) will meet on 13 September 2018 for issuing work order to A.G. Dauters Waste Processing Pvt Ltd. AG Dauters plans to set up a WtE plant with the capacity to convert 700 tonnes of solid waste into 300 MW of electricity daily. According to The Telegraph, the cost of establishing the facility will be borne by AG Dauters and is estimated to be INR 2,400 crores.
