The Guwahati High Court has issued a notice to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh following a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) raising concern over the dismal handling of solid waste by the govt, particularly in the Itanagar and Naharlagun areas.
The Bench has directed the respondents to file a preliminary affidavit on or before January 7, 2022 indicating the steps that have already been taken for waste management.
