Hitachi Zosen to construct three WtE plants for Essel Infra

According to a report by The Economic Times, Essel Infra has won three tenders for the construction and operation of WtE projects in Kadapa, Anantpur and TP Gudem in South East India. According to Essel Infra, the company has awarded Hitachi Zosen India with the contract to provide the technology for the projects. According to Hitachi Zosen, each of the plants will be equipped with a waste combustor and a flue gas treatment system, which should allow the plants to treat up to 105,000 tpy of waste.
