IL&FS to supply cement plant with RDF

An already signed agreement between the Tiruchirappalli Municipal Corporation and Indian company IL&FS will see the supply of RDF from fresh dry waste for use as fuel input for the Ariyalur cement factory of Ultratech Cement, reported The Times of India. This will prevent forming of waste heaps at the Ariyamangalam dump yard. It is estimated that 12,000 tpy of RDF will be supplied to the cement factory in the next 2 years. The RDF supply agreement will end in January 2020.
