J&K: Authorities to set up 3 SWM plants

Three new solid waste treatment plants are being set up in Jammu and Kashmir – located in three major towns: Doda, Bhaderwah and Thathri.

The district administration at Doda has announced that it will manage the three plants in major towns under the District Environment Plan (DEP).

In Doda, authorities have started setting up Material Requirement Facilities (MRFs), while in Bhaderwah, the establishment of an SWM plant is at tendering process. For Thathri, a tender will be released soon, reports dailyexcelsior.com
