Kia and IPCA join hands to fight plastic waste

Kia India has launched a plastic waste management program in association with the India Pollution Control Association (IPCA). The goal is to instill a sense of social responsibility among people so that efficient material recovery and recycling were achieved.

As part of the initiative, 500 metric tonnes of plastic would be collected from 100 locations in Visakhapatnam in 11 months and 200 workshops on waste management would be organized in schools and colleges in Vijayawada, reports The Hindu.
