Kozhikode Municipal Corporation discusses WtE plant

A WtE project is currently being discussed in the city of Kozhikode, as The Hindu reported. The plans were presented in a detailed project report by Health Inspector Krishna Kumar, envisaging a waste capacity of 100 to 140 tpd and a production of 100 MW per day. The investment for the project is expected to amount to USD 30 million and the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation will be supported by the State Suchitwa Mission and the Kerala State Pollution Control Board.
