Kozhikode plastics recycling facility might be restarted

The EUR 852,032 West Hill Recycling plant at the Industrial Estate area in Kozhikode, Kerala, was closed in October 2015 and now the civic body starts negotiations to restart the facility. This was reported by The Times of India. The civic body received proposals from three agencies that stated their interest to operate the plastic recycling unit. The recycling facility has a capacity of about 1 ton per day to recycle plastic waste into granules and pellets.
