
According to the Deccan Herald, the Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) plans to set up a 15 MW WtE plant in Bidadi, which will utilise 500 to 1,000 tonnes of dry waste daily. The Chief Minister of Karnataka has recently approved the project, which will be constructed with a planned investment of INR 200 crores. The technology to be used is yet to be announced.
