Land allocated for Moshi WtE plant

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced that six acres of land will be given to a consortium comprising of Brazilian firm, Lara Enviro, and Anthony Enviro Private Ltd., for the construction of Moshi garbage depot. As reported in the source at The Times of India, The 21 year BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer) project is expected to commence in the next two months. The waste facility will feature a 11.5 MW plant with the capacity to process around 1,000 tonnes of waste daily. The project cost is estimated to be INR 20.8 crores, and is expected to be completed in 18 months.
