Lasanpur AD plant to be operational in 2023

Indian company Gruner Renewable Energy is constructing a new AD plant in Lasanpur, Samudrapur, Maharashtra.

The plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2023 and should treat 50 tpd of napier grass, delivered from 70 local farmers.

When fully operational, the plant should produce 3 tpd of bio-CNG. Total costs of the project should amount to INR 200 million (EUR 2.18 million). Parts of the plant’s equipment will be provided through German company Suma, as further stated in the report.
