Last steps before construction of Brahmapuram WtE plant

After the foundation stone was laid 6 months ago, the Brahmapuram WtE project in Kochi, has yet to obtain an environmental clearance and sign a power purchase agreement. According to Kochi corporation authorities, the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) has the responsibility to secure all permits for the project. The agreement will be signed in the coming days. After these steps are done, it will take around 10 months to complete the first construction phase, according to the report by The Times of India.
