Ludhiana to launch integrated command and control centre

The Ludhiana civic body is ready with its integrated command and control centre (ICCC) under the Smart City mission. It is expected to be inaugurated soon.

Under the Smart City mission, there is a provision to connect 1,742 cameras, out of which around 1,400 are already installed and will be connected with the ICCC, according to The Times of India. In addition to the 30 vehicle-mounted cameras, 600 infrared illuminators will also be part of the project, the cost of which is Rs 35.96 crore.
