In the 42nd joint meeting of India-Japan Business Cooperation Committee, the minister for housing and urban affairs, Hardeep S Puri, invited Japanese firms to invest in sectors like smart cities, renewable energy, waste-to-energy and other mega infrastructure projects. This was reported by MoneyControl. The minister stated different investment reforms that have been put in place to ensure a relaxed and mutual investment environment in the country.
