Mysuru City plans new C&D waste recycling plant

The Mysuru City Corporation, Karnataka, is proposing a new C&D waste recycling plant in Mysuru. It is to be set up in Sathagalli on a 9-acre plot.

The future plant should extract metal from construction waste and is to process concrete waste into aggregates for new concrete production. As further stated, the project is planned to be carried out under a PPP model and tenders are expected to be issued soon.

Project costs are estimated to reach INR 116 million (EUR 1.3 million). The source does not mention the targeted processing capacity.
