SLMG and Dalmia plan new plastic recycling plant

SLMG Beverages is partnering with Dalmia Packaging to establish a PRF for plastic bottles.

The plant is a JV between the two companies and planned to be located between the cities of Lucknow and Kanpur, both in Uttar Pradesh.

Investment in the plant will reportedly range from INR 0.9 to 1 billion (EUR 10 to 11 million). The plant is expected to have an annual capacity of 36,000 tonnes, producing 24,000 tpy of plastic for manufacturing new PET bottles.
