Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has appointed Suritex Pvt Ltd to collect, transport, and recycle e-waste. The NMC will offer incentives to encourage citizens to deposit their e-waste with the company.

The e-waste collection will be done door-to-door, based on calls received on the helpline. The NMC will also set up waste deposit centers at 11 zonal offices. The NMC will not provide any manpower or space to the agency, nor will it charge anything or provide financial assistance. In turn, the agency will have to provide collection details to the zonal office daily and submit monthly reports, according to Nagpur Today.
