Nashik RDF plant functional again

The combined composting and RDF plant in Nashik is now fully functional again, after defunct machinery had disabled the facility from working properly over several years, the Times of India reports. With some pressure from the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the responsible agency for Nashik’s local waste management and operations of the Nashik composting and RDF plant, Mailhem Ikos was able to upgrade and repair all affected machinery at the site. Mailhem Ikos had signed a 30-year contract with the civic administration of Nashik back in December 2016, making Mailhem the operator of the plant.
