New battery recycling plant in Haldia

Chloride Metals Limited has started commercial production at its “manufacturing plant for battery recycling” in Haldia, West Bengal.

The plant situated on a 1-acre plot of land is hosting recycling technology installed together with global engineering company Engitec Technologies SpA, according to the report.

The total installed capacity of this plant is 108,000 MT per year and it is Chloride Metals’ third battery recycling facility. The plants are located in the federal states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and West Bengal, as further reported.
