New biogas plant under construction in Kota

A new biogas plant is under construction in Kota, Rajasthan. The plant is being developed under the Devnarayan scheme of the City Development Trust Kota, according to a news report.

The work is being carried out by Knowledge Integration Services Pvt Ltd. Once completed, the plant will be able to process 150 tpd pf agricultural waste and cow manure to generate 400 m³ of biogas and compressed natural gas (CNG) per day. The development of the plant costs INR 300 million (EUR 3.57 million).
