New biogas project to be built in Matanhail

A new pilot project is proposed to be developed in Matanhail, Jhajjar district, Haryana. This is according to a recent news report.

The proposed plant should treat 10 tpd of organic waste, such as dung, poultry waste, food waste, green waste and bio-degradable solid waste to produce 400 m3 of biogas for cooking.

Apart from this, solid fertilizer and liquid fertilizer will also be produced. More details about the plant are not disclosed in the source.
