New biomethane plant opened at Pakri Barwadih

A biomethane plant has been erected and opened at the NTPC Pakri Barwadih coal mining project (PBCMP), Jharkhand. The facility is located at Sikri site premises. The energy to be produced is supposed to be used for cooking in the canteen on the premises.

Reportedly, as part of Swachhchta Pakhwada celebrated from 16 May to 31 May 2022, several activities have been organised at the Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Projects.
