A C&D waste recycling plant is to be constructed in Pathardi, Maharashtra. The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has been planning this project for some time but just recently, an agency was finalised to set up the plant.

NMC reportedly provides a 4-acre site close to its garbage depot to the agency for 20 years.

The project is expected to cost INR 90 million (EUR 1.1 million), with the State Government contributing INR 35 million (EUR 433,400). The agency will invest the remaining cost itself. The plant is to be built in the next 7 to 8 months. The planned capacity is not mentioned in the source.
