As reported by The Times of India, the Agra Municipal Corporation is currently building a composting plant in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The source does not comment on the size of the composting facility. The plant is part of a green initiative, which will also include a biogas plant. The authority has already identified a site in the Naraich area. Groundworks on the biogas facility are expected to start soon.
