New biogas plant to be built in Agra

The Agra Municipal Corporation plans to build a biogas plant in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. According to The Times of India, the authority has already identified a site in the Naraich area. Groundworks at the facility, which will use biodegradable waste, are expected to start soon. The plant is part of a green initiative, which will also include a waste-to-compost plant. Works on the composting plant are already underway.
